2. What Pravasi Is

Pravasi is an online community platform that provides the following services to South Asians in the United Kingdom:

• A job listings board linking to external employer websites
• An accommodation listings board where users can post and search properties
• A business directory of South Asian businesses across the UK
• Guides and blog articles on immigration, finance, healthcare, and settling into UK life
• An AI CV guide providing advice on using AI tools to create UK-format CVs

Pravasi is a listings and information platform only. We are not an employment agency, a letting agent, a financial adviser, an immigration adviser, or a legal services provider.

3. User Accounts

Some features of Pravasi require you to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

You agree to provide accurate and truthful information when registering. Pravasi reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or breach these terms.

4. Job Listings

Job listings on Pravasi are provided for information only. Clicking "Apply" takes you directly to the employer's own website or application system. Pravasi has no involvement in the recruitment process, does not collect or forward CVs on behalf of employers, and does not act as an employment agency.

Pravasi does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any job listing. We are not responsible for the content of external job postings.

Job seekers are never charged to use the jobs section of Pravasi.

5. Accommodation Listings

Accommodation listings on Pravasi are posted directly by landlords, property owners, or agents. Pravasi does not act as a letting agent, does not hold deposits, does not collect rent, and is not party to any tenancy agreement.

All contact between prospective tenants and landlords is direct. Pravasi does not verify the accuracy of listings, the identity of landlords, or the legal status of any property.

Users should exercise their own due diligence before entering into any tenancy agreement. Pravasi accepts no liability for any loss arising from reliance on accommodation listings.

Fraudulent or misleading listings should be reported immediately to hello@pravasi.uk. We will investigate and remove listings that breach these terms.

6. Business Directory

The Pravasi business directory allows South Asian businesses to list their services for a monthly subscription fee. Listings are paid advertisements.

Pravasi does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee the quality of any listed business. The "Verified" badge confirms only that we have reviewed basic business details — it does not constitute an endorsement of the business's services or professional qualifications.

Important — Immigration and Legal Services: Always verify that any immigration adviser is regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) or the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) before using their services. Unregulated immigration advice is a criminal offence in the UK.

Businesses that provide false or misleading information in their listing will have their listing removed without refund.

7. Paid Business Listings — Billing and Cancellation

Business directory listings are available on a monthly subscription basis at a flat rate of £49.99 per month, which includes all listing features advertised on our pricing page.

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. By subscribing you authorise Pravasi Ltd to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting hello@pravasi.uk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

Pravasi reserves the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

8. Blog and Guides

Articles and guides published on Pravasi are for general information only and do not constitute legal, financial, immigration, or professional advice. Information may become out of date. Always verify important information with a qualified professional or official government source.

Pravasi is not responsible for any action taken in reliance on content published in the blog or guides section.

9. AI CV Guide

The AI CV guide on Pravasi provides general advice on using third-party AI tools (such as Claude AI by Anthropic) to create CV documents. Pravasi does not operate any AI service and is not responsible for the output of third-party AI tools. Users follow this guidance at their own discretion.

10. User Conduct

By using Pravasi you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or content
• Impersonate any person or organisation
• Use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm any other user
• Post content that is unlawful, discriminatory, or offensive
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
• Use automated tools to scrape or copy content without permission
• Use the platform for any purpose other than its intended use

Pravasi reserves the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that breaches these rules, without notice.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on Pravasi — including the name, logo, design, written content, and code — is the property of Pravasi Ltd and is protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from Pravasi without our written permission.

By posting a listing or submitting content to Pravasi, you grant Pravasi Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by English law, Pravasi Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from:

• Reliance on any job listing, accommodation listing, or business directory entry
• Any transaction, tenancy agreement, or employment arrangement entered into as a result of using the platform
• Any inaccuracy in guides, articles, or AI CV advice
• Temporary unavailability of the platform
• Any loss of data

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

Pravasi Ltd complies with UK GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018. Please read our Privacy Policy for full details of how we collect, use, and store your personal data.

14. Changes to These Terms

Pravasi Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Complaints Procedure

If you have a complaint about Pravasi or any content on the platform, please contact us in the first instance at hello@pravasi.uk with full details of your complaint.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 28 days. If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may seek further resolution through the courts of England and Wales.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed from the remaining terms, which shall continue in full force and effect.

17. No Waiver

If Pravasi Ltd fails to enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions on any occasion, this shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Pravasi Ltd reserves the right to enforce all terms at any time.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from use of the Pravasi platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
